World Premiere Production 2007 Winner of BLT's New-Play Competition Scroll down for Edison's Brother, Winner in One-Act Category About the Play A middle-aged tailor indulges in daydreams to escape his hum-drum existence, but his suspicious wife believes he is fantasizing about a sexy, widowed friend and enlists the friend's help in testing his fidelity. The trick backfires when he sets out to avenge his humiliation, leading to an escalation of flirtations by both man and wife, witnessed by their increasingly scandalized daughter and her boyfriend. A middle-aged widower gets drawn into the pseudo-adulterous charade while seeking a romance of his own. This is an adult comedy based on the riddles of mid-life crises and budding love. Athough it would not appeal to children, the script does not use salacious language or depict sexual situations. It's a fresh look at married life with six delightful characters, and will have audiences laughing from beginning to end at the world premiere of this brand-new play.
