This comedy whodunit is exciting and bewildering from beginning to end. An ad man brings his bride to his boss' mountain lodge for their honeymoon; unfortunately, he loses her! The local police inspector doesn't take her disappearance seriously, and his lack of concern seems justified when, after three days, the wife shows up. But the ad man claims she isn't his wife! A local priest and a deli owner join the action and add to the confusion when they both claim to recognize her. Before you know it, people start getting murdered, and surprises come fast and furious as the audience realizes that nothing is as it seems in this baffling game of homicide and red herrings.
